Hello,
I called in a modem swap over three days ago at the support reps suggestion, and I am still waiting for the modem to be activated.
I then found out that the modem activation request to Rogers had been delayed appx 36 hours.
I am told that Teksavvy isn't allowed to escalate until 48 hours has elapsed from the time the request to swap is made by Teksavvy. So, I am out at least another extra day.
All this because either Rogers or Teksavvy decided that the software on my sb5101 was too old. Despite the fact that it was working flawlessly.
I understand that Teksavvy is under the mercy of Rogers when activation modems. But it would be great if Teksavvy could invest in a provisioning system of their own if possible. Or Is Rogers not willing to give up that type of control?
End of rant. Hopefully Rogers will activate my Modem soon.
Thanks for listening.
