Previously I've seen it mentioned that Teksavvy will gladly take an Amex for payment, though they prefer not to.
I signed up earlier in the week, and the rep on the phone told me that they flat out did not take Amex. I told him I was certain that I read from a Teksavvy rep that this was not true, but he insisted that it was not possible, and was quite keen on me instead using a direct draft from my bank account.
Later I called and spoke to accounting - who told me that they would only take Amex for one payment. Can someone please confirm if this is true? It seems absolutely backwards to me to offer to let me pay by my preferred method for only the first payment and then to have to resort to other methods for my monthly bill.
