Hey gang,
We just received a notice from Bell here is what it says:
This notice is to inform you we are updating the Sagemcom modem firmware to Release 3.3RC1.
Bell will update the firmware remotely for all end users with a Sagemcom modem starting on April 16, 2013 with a targeted completion date of May 15, 2013. The upgrade will take place from 2:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. EST. Once upgraded, the modem will reboot and the new firmware will take effect. The Internet connection is automatically re-established without requiring any intervention.
Please note, your customers modem must be plugged in during the upgrade window. For modems not plugged in when the upgrade is made and for new modems configured with the previous firmware version, the firmware will be updated when the modem is rebooted.
During the upgrade period, your customers may experience an outage of up to six minutes. Customers who have VoIP service may also not have telephone service during the downtime; there will be no impact to customers who have landlines.
