I've yet to talk to my current ISP (mycybernet) but I am currently considering a move, and TekSavvy seems to be pretty well regarded.
One question I have is why am I mandated to rent a modem / router (Sagemcom F@ST 2864) on the Up to 25 plan?
I have a gnet GBB2060 (pretty sure that is the model) stats below, and so I'm wondering how that would compare to the modem I'd be required to rent, or if there is some kind of exception that would be allowed for those with compatible modems.
Also, is it not possible to purchase the modem rather than rent it?
Does the monthly rate include the modem rental, or is it an additional cost on top of that?
Thanks :)
