I have been monitoring my DSL line for several months now using the DSLSTATS program. Though I use Teksavvy, the DSL line is provided by Bell. I notice that starting around 6:00pm the SNR begins to drop significantly. It drops from a 8.0 down to 2.0 over the period of 1 to 2 hours. It remains at the 2.0 level fluctuating slightly until 8:00am the following morning then climbs back up to 8.0 over about 1 hour and remains there until the next evening. This happens every night even weekends. At first I thought it was increased traffic by neighbours etc. but it occurs all night every night. And so regularly. Does anyone who knows about the inner workings of Bell DSL know what is happening here?
