For the last couple of months I have been having sporadic (yet worsening) issues with my cable internet. Last week the internet went out for more than 48 hours before it returned. A Rogers technician came over a couple of days ago, and said no one else in the condo has been having the same issues I've been having. The technician said he made some adjustments to the condo's cable box, but yesterday the internet went out for more than 12 hours. I am beginning to question if my modem (DCM475, STAC.02.16) could be the cause of the issues. Do others think it is possibility, or is that unlikely to be the case? I don't want to buy another cable modem if it doesn't fix the issue, but I would prefer not switching to DSL and paying for a DSL modem + installation.
