Is anyone else's cable down in Ottawa? I've listened to the automated message and apparently there's only connectivity issues in Mississauga and Greater Toronto area. (I've already restarted modem/routers a couple times, restarted computers as well) I would call to see if there's any problems in my end, however my internet is actually under my room-mate's name and she's away in vacation right now.
Is it just down because it's past midnight and they're doing maintenance or whatever? I've been finding Teksavvy goes down a lot past midnight. It has happened at least twice in a week, for the past couple weeks now and it's VERY frustrating. It's a gamer apartment here and obviously most of us don't sleep early, lol so it's quite frustrating when this happens.
Now I don't know if this has to do anything to do with their end or Rogers end...
Does having the older modem (DOSCIS 1.0) have anything to do with it?
It can't be a router issue because, our router is fairly new...just bought it 3 months ago AND we're actually connected through ethernet.
Hopefully someone could shed some light into this.
