5 day delay on activation of a new line?

Guys, I'm a (former) istop customer (whoever the heck they are now, is beyond me but I was using Istop infrastructure until only quite recently), trying to Switch to teksavvy on the day I move to a new house. I called it in and was told today, that the order has been rejected. The reason? You have to wait 5 days before a phone line is moved before you can activate DSL on it. What? I have DSL on my current line, use Bell for landline and LD, this should be a simple thing to do.. the only difference is choice of provider has changed for DSl. Seriously, so anyone who moves a phone line and tries to switch services on the same day is screwed and has to wait 5 days? Of course, I'm sure Bell could schedule and move me same day. I believe this is a CRTC/Rule problem, but seriously, I made this pretty clear to you guys when I placed the order and it should be well known that this may occur. Either tell us up front or help me find a way around this. I have 6 business days until the move - let's go guys - I already have a contingency plan to move my server elsewhere until the dust settles, but my family does use the Internet quite heavily. I was called by one of your reps, who was very kind and understanding, but unable to discuss my options In full. Let's go guys, full disclosure, don't dumb it down, what are my options to get around this? What if I take Teksavvy before I physically move the line?
